Daltrey surprising, Clapton slightly disappointing
Roger Daltrey sounded and looked great! I wasn't sure what to expect after the Superbowl performance, but he was outstanding - his solid and strong voice really impressed me.
Ballyhoo! played a blues-heavy concert; many songs weren't familiar at all. A VERY DISAPPOINTING acoustic version of Layla didn't help. It seemed like he might not be feeling 100%. Glad we saw him about 10 years ago when he was here; I wouldn't want this to be my only Clapton concert ever. But Clapton is Clapton, and the strong closers Cocaine and Crossroads were as good as ever. Only one encore though.
